Donny Burbage is an American guitarist, composer, session musician, and sought-after performer whose versatile chops and technical precision have carved him a reputation across the global community. Born with an obsessive drive for mastery, Donny spent his youth immersed in music and quickly progressed from a passionate player to a touring professional.
He currently holds the position of guitarist for the extreme metal band Cradle of Filth, joining the lineup in 2022 and contributing both guitar and orchestrations on their 2025 release The Screaming of the Valkyries. Donny’s relentless work ethic and razor-sharp performances have seen him command stages in arenas and at major international festivals, bringing precision and intensity to every performance.
Before joining Cradle of Filth, Donny made his mark as a founding member and guitarist of the progressive metal outfit Æther Realm, contributing to acclaimed albums including Tarot (2017) and Redneck Vikings from Hell (2020). His diverse career also includes live work with Vale of Pnath, studio sessions, ghostwriting, and technical roles such as guitar tech and sound engineering for touring acts such as Evergrey and Nekrogoblikon, showcasing his deep understanding of both performance and instrument mechanics.
