Shape
The Zero One shape is edgy yet comfortable. Hand-finished to featuring complex organic contouring for access and relief on both the front and back, it's designed to sit just right and hang at the hip, feel great and look great - it's designed to fit you.
 
Colour and Finish
Grain  tells the story of the wood. All our guitars are stained to show the natural grain that underlies the tone, adding timelessness and class you can't get from solid sprays. Every guitar is hand-finished in ultra-hard non-yellowing polyurethane to protect your axe without dampening the tone, with a satin or glass-like high-gloss top and grippier satin-back.
 
The Wood
The wood you choose affects everything from the weight to resonance, appearance and how the finish takes. We use reliable suppliers who ensure wood is sustainable collected, treated and kilned for 2 years or more. We offer our guitars in 2 woods: Black Korina or Okoume
 
Black Korina Known for being one of the snappiest tonewoods on the market. Expect crisp note definition, punchy bass and bright attack. Medium weight. Also famed for it's figuring, as Black Korina features resin streams and wood-worm damage.
Okoume Softer and articulate with a good mid-punch; lighter than Korina. Features a dense reddish grain which can show remarkable texture under different lighting conditions

Guyker 18:1 locking tuners and double-string-trees for maximum stability
Bone nut for tone
Fixed through-body C-shaped bridge for comfort and resonance
Heavy duty knobs for a tactile experience
 
Wiring and Control Layout
Authoritatively voiced with maximum tonal control, featuring 2x 250k volumes wired dependently, 1x 500k Tone, split coils and pickup control selector. Featuring the the exquisite-sounding hand-wound Siren pickup set from Legendary in Scotland.

We want every customer to be a lifetime Dan's Guitar Store player. If you buy a guitar from us we will sort any issues and make sure the instrument is rock solid and ready and make ourselves available to provide any upgrades or changes you might require (the latter being at cost).
 
The Process
Made to order in Sheffield to your spec. You place the order. Note: Custom translucent colours can be included, if you have hardware or circuitry you want us to fit let us know.. if it's something big like a Floyd', Maytrem or Evertune that will need to be discussed first.
We will send a mock-up of the design for your approval and once agreed we start build.
Leadtime: 6-8 weeks from order to shipping - subject to schedule. Contact me first if the order is time-critical. 
Progress will be reported weekly (or more frequently) with updates and pictures.
